Abstract: In this doctoral dissertation has been proposed architecture platform based on service-oriented architecture to determine the reference
evapotranspiration, with defined problems, preconditions, principles, technologies and solutions that can be used to provide a platform
implementation. Scientific, technical and practical contributions of doctoral dissertation are reflected in
the review and analysis methodologies and methods of design platform, the analysis of existing standards
and specifications relevant to the modeling platform, defining and developing ETSpec specification and
modeling components to test evapotranspiration.
The offered investigations in this dissertation are actual from scientific and practical point of view.
They represent the intersection of candidate's previous work in the field of information system in hydrology and the application of service-oriented
